This Electric Kettle is quite simple without any frills. For the price, it does what it claims to do. It boils water quickly , the water level is easy to see and has the auto-shut off feature. I have used it reliably to boil water for tea, oatmeal etc. The water is quite hot, so use caution when pouring it out. It even stays plenty warm enough to top off the first cup of tea. I bought this kettle for making hot water for tea or ramen in my dorm room and it's working great. Word to the wise: avoid this kettle. I love hot-pots in general. Has the easy view feature. You can see the water boil, not just hear it. It has automatic shut off, in case you forget about it. I use it for boiling water for tea, instant noodles, coffee, cocoa, and other soups. It is a nice modern convinience. Very much worth the price. I bought this product for my Montessori classroom where I taught my Lower Elementary students to grind and brew coffee as a part of their Grace & Courtesy lessons. It is perfect for their size (5-7 year olds) and is safe to touch in most places. The water only takes about 2 minutes to come to a rolling boil. They love that they can see through the blue transparent side and can carry it easily. If need be, I would buy this same product again. I bought this kettle for work - I wanted something cheap with auto-shut-off. This kettle is great! Its easy to use and fits perfectly on my desk.I have had this electric kettle (Proctor Silex K2070Y 1 Liter Electric Kettle) for over a year and it really does the job reliably and with very few complaints. It boils pretty quickly and always shuts off as it starts boils and if there is not enough water to boil. I like the detachable cord so filling the kettle is easy without a cord dangling. Bottom line, my experience has been that the kettle is safe, simple and reliable.

I have had my grinder for 12 years now. That said, this grinder is not for everybody.This grinder is perfect for anybody with a coffee maker that uses #4 paper CONE filters (or slightly bigger or smaller). I emphasize PAPER because a permanent filter is not good for this grinder. Like any blade grinder, it will produce some dust. It sloppies up your coffee. It also grinds coffee fine. If you try a coarse grind with this unit, you will be out of luck. If you don't grind long enough, you will leave a few beans whole or in large pieces. If you need anything other than a fine grind and don't mind using paper filters (I prefer them), then look no further. In my mind the quietness, ease of use and ease of cleaning (the black model is easier to clean than white) make this a must-have for coffee lovers. We are serious cooks and take our coffee seriously. Grinds whole beans according to your desired taste.

The water filter really does deliver better water. However, the water filter seems quite expensive to me. To remove the old filter you push a button next to the filter, typically to the left of the filter. Then pull on the cap covering the filter and pull the filter out. Install the filter cover onto the new filter. Yes, the filters are expensive, but they are Pur water filters which, in my opinion, are better than Brita.

This GE MWF Refrigerator water filter is working nice, we are happy with it,and we recieved it in good conditions. I have a GE side by side refrigerator that uses this filter. My refrigerator manuel states that my filter should last for about 300 - 350 gallons of water. But I'm suppose to wait until the red filter light appears before I change the filter. My before stream of water from the water dispenser was about the width of a wooden tooth pick, and it did not flow very fast. I can't believe the filter clogged up that fast since I mainly drink bottled water. The water from the frig is only used for ice and refilling the cats water dish. Filter fit our GE refrigerator and fixed the clog we had on our filtered water spout on the fridge.
